We know the troll meant it as an insult, but this description of our latest single, Am I Just a Battery?, has grown on us. I now interpret it is "a fresh and unique take on indie rock." Plus, internet trolls are such a bizarre phenomenon, which we explore on our forthcoming concept album, iTopia (out 4/7). So it just felt right to turn this insult into a marketing campaign for a song all about the attention economy and our relationships with technology and the internet. Here's the music video for Am I Just a Battery? The single is available on Spotify and everywhere else you stream music (LINK IN BIO).
