On July 9th we’re hosting an immersive audio/visua On July 9th we’re hosting an immersive audio/visual experience at Third Room in Asheville, sharing our new album of meditative, mind-expanding music. First, we’ll present the visual album “one: a joyful psychedelic journey,” listening to the recorded music and projecting abstract video art on the walls of the venue. You’re invited to bring yoga mats and pillows if you want to lie down for this experience and some seating will be available. After we all listen to the new album together, The Get Right Band will take the stage to play a live show and we can put the chairs and yoga mats to the side and have a dance party. Friends, we’ve got a lot of new music coming your Friends, we’ve got a lot of new music coming your way! Our new visual album “one” will be released everywhere on July 10th. The first single, “eleven” is already out and the next single, “four” drops this Friday. On July 9th, we’re throwing a very special event at @thirdroomavl in Asheville. We’ve never done something like this, so it’s a bit of experiment... we hope you guys will show up and experience the experiment with us! Doors open at 6 PM. At 7 PM, we’re going to play the recorded album over the venue sound system and project the accompanying visuals around the room. This is the “album listening party” portion of the evening. “one” is a meditative, mind-expanding, one hour, all-instrumental, psychedelic journey. Some seating will be provided and you’re invited to bring yoga mats and pillows if you want to lie on the ground while taking in the recording. Then for set 2, the band will don our instruments and take the stage to play a set of live music for you guys, including a couple of the new album songs, a bunch of GRB favorites, and some improvised jams. This is the “album release show” portion of the evening where you can set aside the yoga mats and pillows and chairs and hit the dance floor.
