You ever get that feeling that all of the classic

You ever get that feeling that all of the classic institutions that make our human world go round are crumbling and we’re destroying our planet and there’s always something terrifying popping up—an election, a pandemic, a wildfire, a hurricane—and social media is tearing us further and further from any kind of consensus on reality and you find yourself thinking things like “how will I make a living without being miserable?” and “will we still have a country, or for that matter, a planet in a couple of decades?” and sometimes you get brave enough to ask those questions out loud, maybe in words, maybe in action, maybe in tentatively reaching out a hand for some help, and it feels like the world apathetically replies, “good luck kid.” You ever get that feeling, or is that just me?

Happy Album Release Day to our drummer, Jaze, who’s just dropped a new record under the name @yahzay. He wrote, recorded, mixed, and mastered this whole thing and it sounds freaking awesome. We’re having a fire sale! We’ve got a new tshirt design coming in soon so we’re putting the shirts in these photos on sale for half price ($12 + shipping). We’re running out of sizes, so DM us or email thegetrightband@gmail.com with your size and if you want the unisex cut (so beautifully modeled here by Jesse) or the women’s cut (you know you want to look as fly as Teresa and Alix). These shirts run small so unless you definitely want a tight fit, we recommend getting a size up from your usual.

We’re positively pumped up to be releasing a live version of Good Luck Kid, from our latest album, iTopia (link in bio for full video on youtube!). This has been one of our favorite songs to play at shows and seems to always get the crowd hyped up and singing along. We haven’t been touring as far as we used to, so these live videos are a great way for us to connect with our fans and friends who are far away. It’s not the same as being at a live show, but hopefully this captures some of that energy. Let us know what you think!
