Who's in Charge? just turned 4 years old! What's your favorite track on this record?

Albums are like children... you love them all, but definitely not equally. Itchy Soul is clearly our favorite child, at least until the next one. BUT, we have a lot of love for Who's in Charge?, all the songs on it, and the wonderful experience of making it. Feeling really excited that Itchy Soul has already hit 100,000 streams on @spotify! That number is obviously small compared to a lot of albums and huge compared to a lot of others...we’re not posting these numbers to brag, but to take a minute to really appreciate what feels like a big success for us in an industry that’s full of so much rejection and disappointment. In just the couple of months that Itchy Soul has been out it’s got more sales, streams, and video views than any other album we’ve released, and that feels like real tangible progress...definitely something to celebrate! Thank you all so much for the support and for connecting with the music!

Our friend and frequent collaborator @enorthemagni

Our friend and frequent collaborator @enorthemagnificent is dropping a new album this week! All 3 members of The Get Right Band play on this adventurous, exciting record and we’ll all be part of the live stream release show on Thursday, Aug 6 at 8 pm, along with our friends and Eleanor’s usual bandmates, Chris Pyle and Zack Page. That show will be streaming on our FB page and iamavl.com and it’s gonna be dope!

Then on Friday the album becomes available on streaming platforms and Eleanor is going to debut it on her Facebook and YouTube pages at 8 pm with a video/album thing that’s going to be super cool. Basically there’s a music video for every song! And all of us in GRB were involved with various parts of that too. It’s been a very fun and artistically inspiring collaboration and we think you guys will love what Eleanor has put together.
